Fraternizing with the Prisoner

Ever since I saw Lilo and Stitch, I loved the movie and the series and pretty much anything to do with it. When I made Nicki (technically my first fan-character) I wanted her to be a ray of sunshine contained in a cute and adorable little pale green body. I had no idea where she belonged in the universe, nor what her power set was, but I knew that she lived close to the Pelekais. Throughout the years, Nicki retained certain traits of her being, namely her indestructibility and her kindness. When Leroy and Stitch came out, I found myself toying with the idea that Nicki was somehow put in charge of reforming him.

After most of the Leroy's were put back into ONE Leroy, the grandcouncil woman sentenced Leroy to exile. However, fearing that he might find a way to escape and seek vengeance, Jumba suggested an alternative. Jumba suggested that Lilo be given the opportunity to reform him like she had done for all the other experiments. The former evil scientist created a fancy prison collar for Leroy to wear that could release and incredibly powerful electric shock to stun him and, in extreme cases, play "Aloha 'Oe".

Lilo grew frustrated with Leroy's stubborn and hostile attitude and eventually decided that perhaps someone else could be of some benefit to Leroy's reformation. Enter experiment 12. Nicki's bright and sunny attitude grated on Leroy's nerves, but he was unable to do anything less he face a shock or folksy song induced power nap. Nicki was eventually put in charge of showing Leroy what being good was all about, showing him the joy of family and so forth. Though Leroy initially hated the do-gooder perky ball of sunshine, he eventually began to tolerate her. Toleration turned to actual feelings and I enjoyed the idea of the two eventually ending up together. Leroy will always be a little naughty, perhaps more confrontational, but I imagine that after years of Nicki's goody-goody ebullience, some of it would have to rub off on him.

Anyway, this picture is probably towards the beginning of their time together. Boy doesn't Leroy look thrilled.
